Preston, Idaho and Valentines day

First things first we'll start with my update on Bearding. That post literally doubled my views there was only 100 before but still...impressive. My only theory on this is people want to inflict bodily harm to me due to the certain wager I made in the last post.
Pain: Always funny
If you don't know what wager this is go find out. My second theory is that people like beards. I think this theory is more plausible because beards are awesome and everyone loves them.
Proof
So yeah thats all I have to say about that. Next just a word of advice to everyone not from Preston, Idaho who meets someone from Preston, Idaho......don't mention Napoleon Dynamite. Here's how a  conversation goes with a typical Prestonite
Prestonite: Hey
Me: Hi
Prestonite: Whats your name?
Me: Adam, yours?
Prestonite: #$%$ (censored for privacy reasons)
Me: Oh where you from?
Prestonite: Preston
Me: Gonna be honest all I know about Preston is Napoleon Dynamite was  filmed there
Prestonite: Yeah well do have a wife named Eve
Me: No
*end of conversation
This happens every time I talk to people from Preston. Apparently the movie did injustice to their town or so I heard from the girl I talked to last night from there.
Injustice!!!
I'm don't really see why everyone is so mad there. If a movie puts you on the map you might as well embrace it. When I tell someone I'm from Vernal and they go off on a tangent about dinosaurs I'm proud because at least it has identity. But whatever thats my rant for the day. So yeah today is Valentines day and I'm just gonna put this out there and say this holiday is the most hated holiday of all time. All its good for is boosting diamond store sales. The stupidest thing I've heard was in a conversation going on behind me it went something like this, "Me and my (signficant other) don't celebrate Valentines day because we feel that we shouldn't set one day out of the year to show more affection than usual." They must not celebrate any holiday then because every holiday is set aside to give something more attention than it usually is given. I personally don't have a problem with it I mean I think one day out of the year we can focus extra hard on the relationships in our lives.
"We feel we should have a moment everyday where we strengthen our relationship with Columbus."
So if you don't like it that's fine I don't have a problem with it its nice to have a change once in a while. And if you don't have a Valentine for the day go find one Carpe Diem peeps.
